Zofia Skupien, age 87, at rest on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. She is the beloved wife of the late Jan. Loving mother of Maria Gil, Bill (Tina) Skupien and Joseph (Maria) Skupien. Devoted grandmother of Elizabeth (Mitch) Kowalkowski, Sylvia Skupien, Jane (Ted) Chraca, John (Sandy) Gil, Bernadette (R.J.) Summers, Andy (Emily) Skupien, Mark and Tommy Skupien and the late Chester (Carmela) Gil. Great grandmother of Frank, Angelica, Alexia, Olivia, Veronica, Sadie and Charlie John. Dear sister of Maria (the late Jerry (Guzik), Wladyslaw (Kazimiera) Landowski, Aniela (the late Ted) Nabielec, Krystina (Ted) Bobek and the late Boleslaw (Zofia), Franciszek and Jozef. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 3rd. 2019 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Monday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. and will then proceed to St. Hyacinth Basilica in Chicago for 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, IL.
