Zdzislaw Walencik

Zdzislaw "Ziggy" Walencik, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2020. Zdzislaw was the beloved husband of Teresa, nee Laczynska; loving father of Anna (Paul) Pyrich; dearest son of the late Wladyslawa, nee Bartos, and the late Jan Walencik; dear brother of Danuta Malicka; fond uncle of many. Visitation Friday October 23, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Priscilla Church 6949 W. Addison, Chicago, IL. for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family, so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please, wear masks and use proper social distancing.
