Yolanda C. Farinella nee Malatesta, Age 90. Devoted wife of Sam. Beloved mother of Joseph (Gwen) Farinella, Carmel Lee Bass and Joanne Detch. Loving grandmother of Ian Sohn, Jessica (Daniel) Flesh, Nicholas Farinella, Michael (Amy) Camodeca, Aaron (Regina) Bass, Andrew Detch and Samuel (Daniela) Detch. Great grandmother of Henry and Maddox Sohn, Abagail, Aleksa and Ava Camodeca. Dear sister of Nicholas (Joan) Malatesta, the late John and the late James Malatesta and the late Mary “Dolly” Canzolino. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and dear friend to many. She was a member of the Norridge Golden Fellowship and Happy Seniors Club. Visitation Tuesday June 30 from 3 to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Wednesday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
