William Stachula

William J. "Bill" Stachula, Retired C.P.D., U.S. Army Veteran, age 75, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2022. Bill is the beloved husband of Donna M., nee Zurawski, for 44 wonderful years; loving father of Christopher J. Stachula; dearest son of the late Jean, nee Ogorek, and John Stachula; dear brother of Marlene and Donald (Sandra) Stachula and brother in law of Garry (Sherri) and the late Lawrence Zurawski. William was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and a Lifelong Cubs Fan. Visitation Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
