William “Inday” Cordon Naviamos, age 71, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
William was born on September 11, 1954, in Pandan, Philippines, to the late Exequiel Naviamos and the late Liberata (née Cordon). He later made his home on the far northwest side of Chicago, where he built a life rooted in hard work, devotion, and an unwavering love for his family.
William was the beloved husband of Fe Esperanza Naviamos (née Cupcupin) for 37 beautiful years. Together, they shared a life filled with love, sacrifice, and cherished memories. He was a proud and loving father to Feleiph Naviamos, who was his greatest joy and source of pride.
He was the dear brother of Lilybeth, Expectacion, Geraldine, and the late Exequiel Jr.. A devoted uncle to Geexzel, Tony, and Gerion, William treasured his family deeply and always made time for those he loved.
Known affectionately as “Inday,” William will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. He had a way of making others feel welcomed and cared for, and his presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him. His love for his family was constant and unwavering, and the memories he leaves behind will be cherished forever.
Though his passing leaves a deep void, his legacy of love, humility, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation for William will take place on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois.
Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., before proceeding to St. Francis Borgia Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass.
Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
