William Francisco

William A. Francisco, age 79, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025. William was born on March 22, 1946, in Manila, Philippines, to the late Aresenio Sr. and Resurreccion (née Avila) Francisco.

William made his home on the northwest side of Chicago, where he built a life grounded in dedication, kindness, and quiet strength. He worked for the State of Illinois for many years, retiring in 2011. His gentle spirit and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

William was the loving brother of Ofelia (Roger) Odiamar, Elsa (the late David) Nunez, Violeta (Bonifacio) Sayat, Mario (Remedios) Francisco, Arsenio Jr. Francisco, and the late Nelson Francisco. He was a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Visitation for William will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.

Interment will be private at a later date at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.

William’s memory will remain a blessing to all who loved him.
