Wayne R. Walkowicz, Age 54, Suddenly passed away Friday January 17, 2014 . Beloved husband of Nancy Walkowicz. Loving stepfather of Lindsay Hogan (Jimmy) Sotelo and Matt (Pam) Hogan. Fond grandfather of Lawsen Hogan. Adored son of Paula Knesh and the late Carl Walkowicz. Dear cousin and friend of many. Doting master of two dachshunds, Riley and the late Brandi. Wayne was a loyal employee of United Airlines for 35 yrs., working in several capacities during his tenure with the airline, a dedicated instructor for the last 13yrs. Wayne was one of a kind. His sense of humor will be missed by all. Visitation Saturday January 25th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with services at 4:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge.
