Wayne P. Smolinski

Wayne P. Smolinski, age 80, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026. Wayne was born on June 23, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Paul T. and Lorraine C. Smolinski. He proudly served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Wayne was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Giometti) Smolinski. He was the loving father of Michael and Jamie Smolinski, and the dear grandfather of Greyson. He was also the fond brother of Janis (Dave) Rojas.

Wayne will be remembered for his devotion to his family and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, especially his children and grandson, who will cherish the many moments and memories they shared with him.

A Celebration of Life for Wayne will take place at a later date and will be announced.

May he rest peacefully, knowing he was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
