Wayne Schnell

Wayne F. Schnell, age 80, U.S. Air Force Veteran, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023. Wayne was the beloved husband of the late Rita, nee Johnson; loving father of Terry (Wally) Tenner and Karen (James) Murphy; dearest son of the late Josephine and Frank; cherished grandpa of Rebecca (Frank) Castro, Andrew, Kyle (Shannon), Courtney and Christopher "C.J." Tenner and Kaylee and Ryan Murphy; great grandfather of Elly, Noah and Ethan; dear brother of Bradley (Laima) Schnell; fond uncle of many.

Visitation will be Monday, February 27, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The interment will follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Des Plaines. For more information call (708)456-8300.
