Wayne Meyer

Wayne Harold Meyer, age 75, passed away on May 2, 2020. Wayne was the beloved husband of Joyce, nee Borgardt, for 52 wonderful years; loving father of Jennifer L. (Aaron) Jones and Elizabeth J. (Andreas) Soteropoulos; dearest son of the late Ruth and Harold Meyer; cherished grandfather of Camden Teubner, Quinten and Iain Jones. Wayne was also a brother, uncle, cousin and friend of many, and he was very fond of his grand-dog Dahlia. Those who met Wayne, were instantly greeted with warm levity, and those who knew him came to appreciate his ability to set others at ease with his sense of humor. He was a creative and passionate entrepreneur, always available handyman, and enjoyed time outdoors fishing and golfing. As Wayne recently reminded us, “Live your best life!” He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Due to the outbreak of Covid19 all services will be private, and the Interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery. If anyone wishes to drive in procession with the family to the cemetery you are asked to gather at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the funeral home.
