Walter C. Ryder, age 97, U.S. Army WWII. Beloved husband of the late Reba F., nee Black, for 67 years; loving father of Rod (Linda) Ryder; cherished grandfather of Todd (Sherry) Heckman, Tammy (Michael) Scioli and Christopher Ryder; great-grandfather of Mason, Brandon, Averey, Tyler and Chase. Walter was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30a.m. until 10:30a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Following visitation we will proceed to Our Lady Mother of the Church for Mass 11:00a.m. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery
