Walter Langner

Walter C. Langner, age 91, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away on March 4, 2020. Walter was the beloved husband of Joan B., nee Schodtler, for 59 wonderful years; loving father of Catherine (Bruce) Renner, Thomas (Jennifer), James, John and the late Wally Langner; dearest son of the late Hattie and Alexander Langner; cherished grandfather of Tommy, Matthew and Daniel; dear brother of Tina Krajecki and the late Marie Banashak, Angela Krajecki, Harriett Schroeder, Alex and Daniel Langner. He was a fond uncle of many. Visitation Friday, March 6, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
