Walter Hubert

Walter Hubert, age 77, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026. Walter was born on October 2, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Walter F. and the late Anna M. (née Luska) Hubert.

Walter was a devoted and loving father to Alicia (John) Rutili, Stephanie Hubert, and the late Rebecca Pedroza. He was a cherished grandfather to Luca and Nicolette Rutili; Mia and Mateo Pedroza; Mason Hubert; and Aiden Sonney and Leonidas Pedroza. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Tony (Jenell) Pedroza.Walter proudly served his country in the United States Army during 1969 and 1970, a time of service he held with great honor.

Walter will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cumberland Chapels.
