Walter Depa

Walter J. Depa, age 90, died June 19, 2016, at Central Baptist Village in Norridge, IL. Walter was born on June 27, 1925 in Chicago, IL. He spent his professional life serving as a member of the U.S. Navy, including several World War II tours. In his civilian life, Wally was a sports enthusiast, avid reader and enjoyed traveling to Japan.Walter was the beloved son of the late Stanley and Anna Mika Depa; dear brother of Jean Mamrot, Richard Depa and the late Veronica Depa; fond uncle of many.Visitation is Friday, June 24th from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin Saturday, June 25th at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Cornelius Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
