Vivian Wirkus

Vivian “Cissie” Wirkus, Age 89. Loving sister of Robert (late Lorraine) and the late LeRoy (late Dolores) Wirkus. Cherished aunt and great aunt to many. Cissie enjoyed parties and was always dressed to the “nines”. She was a teacher for 55 years at Bernhard Moos Elementary School and continued to volunteer for many years following retirement. Visitation Tuesday May 31 from 3 to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Wednesday 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home and will then proceed to St. Mary of the Angels Church for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
