Virginia F. Muscarello, nee Masaracchia, age 83, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was the beloved wife of Michael C. for 61 wonderful years; loving mother of Michael J. and Denise M. Muscarello; dear daughter of the late Jeanette and Philip Masaracchia; dearest sister of Marilyn J. (Eugene) Schuler, and sister in law of Gerald (Greta) Muscarello and Mae "Dolly" (Deacon Daniel) Foley; cherished aunt of Cari Netolicky, Christine Jodoin, Stephen and Michelle Muscarello, Louise Smith, Sara Foley-Kurup and many great nieces and nephews. She was a friend to all who knew her.
Virginia was a devouted member of St. Eugene Parish for many years, she was a past President of the Altar and Rosary Society and helped out for many years with the St. Joseph's Day Feast.
Visitation Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) for Mass at 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Hillside.
