Vernon Lipps

Vernon R. 'Vern' Lipps Sr., age 91, Staff Sgt. U.S. Army WWII Island of Morotai. Beloved Husband of Katherine F., nee Holz, for 66 wonderful years; loving father of Vernon R. Jr. and Kevin M. (Kathryn) Lipps, Katherine D. (Ed) Cilley and the late Katherine Mary Lipps; dearest son of the late Anna and Joseph Lipps; cherished 'Granddad' of Katherine, Henry, Ethan, Kaitlyn and Kourtney; dear brother of the late Joseph Lipps; fond uncle of many. Vern was a member of the Royal League, the Loyal Order of the Moose, a 1946 Charter Member of Alpha Beta Gamma Fraternity of DePaul University, an Usher at Divine Savior Church in Norridge for many years and a Government Contract Coordinator and Auditor of Finance for General Motors Electromotive Division for 35 years. In lieu of flowers, prayers for Vernon and his family would be appreciated.
