Valene Therese "Val" Georgiafentis, nee Emery, age 40, passed away on June 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Val was the beloved wife of Nicholas for 16 wonderful years; loving mother of Kayla, Anthony and Maria; dearest daughter of John and the late Theresa Quinlan and Ross and Nancy Emery, and daughter in law of Anastasia and Anthony Georgian; dear sister of Jason (Janeth) and Sean Emery, and sister in law of Effie and Chris Georgiafentis; fond aunt of Juliana, Joshua, Jaxon, Anastasia, Patricia and Randy.

Visitation Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) 7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago, for Mass at 12:00 p.m. and the interment will follow at St. Adalbert cemetery in Niles. For more information call (708)456-8300.
