Ursula Blitzner

Ursula M. Blitzner, 97, daughter of the late Otto and late Helen Blitzner, passed away on January 9, 2018. She was the cousin of Sharon (nee Blitzner) (the late Ron) Deutscher, Arlene (nee Blitzner) Cierny and Andrew Cierny. Good friend of Carol Jankowski and friend and mentor to many. Ursula was counselor at Camp Nokomis; a teacher for the Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Teachers College; principal of Hammond, Medill and Haugan Elementary Schools and Roosevelt High School Chicago. Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
