Tom M. Filskov Sr, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2024. Tom was the beloved husband of Bonnie L. (Gorski) for 45 wonderful years; loving father of Thomas M. Jr., and Lisa A. (Jess) Honaker; dearest son of Carol (Spohn) and the late Melvin Filskov; cherished grandpa of Oakley and Bentley; dear brother of Lester (Marlene) Filskov and Janice (Romel) Babaghasheh, and brother in law of Beverly (Donald) Thill, Shirley (Silvio Totaro) Gorski, Sandy (Thomas Cunningham) Gorski, Frances Gorski, Janice (Rick) Kamberos and he was a fond uncle of many.
Tom was the former owner of Armitage Auto Electric and was a longtime Chicago Little League Coach. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved all things automotive!
Memorial Visitation Friday, July 5, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Memorial Service 6:00 p.m.) at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. All Services will conclude on Friday, and the interment will be private. For more information call (708)456-8300.
