Timothy H. Doody, 68, passed away on November 3, 2016, eight years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Tim was the fourth of seven children of the late Frank A. Doody and Jeanne (Squibbs) Doody. Tim is loved and revered by four brothers, two sisters, three sisters-in –law, and two brothers-in-law: Terry, Missy and Tom Newton, Mike and Mary Jane, Pat and Laurel, Colleen and Chuck Bradburn and Dan and Carol. Tim is fondly remembered by nearly fifty first cousins and as the loving uncle of twenty nieces and nephews and twenty-four great nephews and nieces. Friends and family remember him as kind, compassionate, funny and clever, just one lovable guy. He graduated from Ascension Grade School and Fenwick High School in Oak Park and the University of Illinois, Chicago. Memorial Visitation Monday Nov. 21 from 9:00 a.m. until time of memorial Mass 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Catholic Church , 808 S. East Ave., Oak Park. Luncheon to follow Mass at the Carleton Hotel, 1100 Pleasant Street. Inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to honor Tim’s memory to the Hephzibah Home, 946 North Blvd., Oak Park, IL 60301, where Tim volunteered as a tutor and mentor to foster children.
