Thomas Roback

Thomas J. Roback, age 83. Husband for 44 years of Charlotte (Boos) Berniek. Father of Joseph (Kelly) Roback, John, Ruth, Diane, Lori, Julie, Thomas, James and Paula Bernick, along with granddaughter Julia (Ayala) Harris. Dear brother of Carole Hogfelt. He was Preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Irene (Zblewski) Roback. A graduate from Schurzs High School. Tom served in the United States Army in the 6th Armored Division during the Korean War. Following his service time Tom returned to the Chicago area. Tom enjoyed watching sports events especially the Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks. Tom is survived by his wife Charlotte, 9 children, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Hope Church, 9711 W. Devon, Rosemont, IL., Tuesday May 3rd. from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
