Thomas Panocha

Tom Panocha, age 44, passed away suddenly on February 10, 2023. Beloved father of Alyse Panocha. Cherished son of Stanislaw and Stanislawa Panocha. Dear brother of Dave (Jessica) Cwiok and Monica (Tim) Nierengarten. Dear uncle of Lucy, Dave Jr., Noah and Livia. Fond nephew, cousin and friend to many. Tom was born in Chicago, IL. He graduated from DePaul University and worked in I.T. as a Network Engineer for a global tech company. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks; he liked playing and watching golf. He enjoyed traveling, trying new food spots, and following the Dave Matthews Band on their U.S. tour. His family cherishes the time spent with him at their family cabin in Spring Green, WI. Everyone will miss his generosity, wit, humor, and side-smirk smile. Tom dedicated his life to raising his daughter Alyse who was the center of his universe. There are no words to describe their bond and love for one another. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Thursday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 am and will then proceed to St. Monica Church for 10:00 Mass. Interment will be private.
