Thomas M. Murphy, 88, went peacefully on July 6, 2024. Dear son of Charles and Margaret. Brother to Bill (Alice), Harold (Gloria), Mary (Dan), Rosemary (George Derby), Chuck (Joanne). Beloved husband of Frances P. Farella (1938-2010) for 54 years. Loving father of George (Debra), Thomas (Mary), Michael (Dee), Kelli (Pete).
Grandfather to Thomas, Stephanie, Patricia, Georgyna, Ryan, Franny, Michael, & Kelli. Great-grandfather to George, Joey, Timothy, Thomas, Jonathan, Michael, Patrick, Daniel, James, Jack, Joseph, Nikolette, Dominic, Frances, Sydney, Charlie, Sarah, Emma, & Nico.
You will always be in our hearts. Your love and guidance have been and will continue to be our light through the future. You will always be remembered as a strong leader who set us on path to guide our families. And we have a great family that remains very close. Thank you Dad.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, Norridge. Family and friends are invited to meet on Friday at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 7201N. Oketo, Chicago, for Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Intermenet private. Info: 708-456-8300
