Thomas Ginoza

Thomas A. Ginoza, age 73, C.P.D. retired, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2022. Tom was the beloved husband of JoAnn, nee Melone, for 41 wonderful years; loving father of Samantha Younger and Angela (Scott Williams) Hosp; dearest son of the late Priscilla and William and son in law of Evangeline and the late Joseph Melone; cherished papa of Jessica (Christopher) Paschall, Stevie Younger, Zachary and Matthew Hosp and Shelby Carpenter; great grandfather of Makayla, Jarred, Oliveah, Hannah and Zeppelin; dear brother of the late Carol and Steven Lamie and brother in law of Carol Hills, Michael (Kelly) Melone and Mary (Kevin) Skweres and the late Joseph Melone, Jr.; fond uncle of many. Tom retired as a Sergeant after 31 years with the Chicago Police Department. Visitation Friday, February 18, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m.) at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
