Thomas D'Amato

Thomas D’Amato of Mesa, Arizona passed away on January 4, 2020. Tom was born on November 10, 1934 to Joseph and Anna D’Amato in Chicago, IL. Tom was a kind man and loved his family and friends. A life long Cubs fan Tom also enjoyed going to the casinos and playing poker. Tom retired in 1999 after working for Sysco Foods for 45 years. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Patricia (Melton) D'Amato, his daughter Veronica Torgerson , son Thomas D'Amato Jr, stepdaughter Kimberly Cochrane (William), stepson Michael A. Piche III (Jessica) and 3 grandchildren Mia Cochrane, Michael P. Piche and Matthew Piche. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings Nicholas, Joseph, Nancy and Rosemary. A memorial visitation to celebrate Tom’s life will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Cumberland Funeral Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois.
