Thomas Allen

Thomas J. Allen, age 91, passed away peacefully at his home on April 4, 2022. Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Roberta, nee Silvernail; loving father of Judith (Alan) Francis, Steven (Mary), Peter (Janet), Barry (Linda), Susan and Kathryn Allen, Andrea (Jeff) Meadows and Jerry (Tamara) Allen; dear son of the late Irene and Jerry Allen; cherished grandfather of Sharon, Linda, Amy, Edward, Cameron, Madison, Amanda, Jonathan, and Jackson; great grandfather of Kayla, Kaiden, Vinny, Adelina, Gianna, Nathan, Joshua; Elijah; Leah; dear brother of Audrey (the late Robert) Palmer, Patricia (Jim) Carr and the late Donald (Sally) Allen; fond uncle of many. Tom was a member of the Plumbers Union Local #130, and enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, the church choir, and creating many beautiful arts and crafts.
Visitation Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Rosalie Church in Harwood Heights for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at Acacia Park Mausoleum.
