Theresa Wenner

Theresa Wenner, nee Marz, age 90, passed away on August 1, 2021, with her daughter by her side. Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Anton; loving mother of Ingrid Wenner and special second mom to Diane Lombardo and Diane Blazek; dearest daughter of the late Rosa and Anton Marz; dear sister of Gisele (the late Andrew) Stitchalk and the late Adam Marz; fond aunt of Shirley (Randy) Tate; great aunt of Dylan (Samantha), Ian (Erin) and Ariane (Joey) Tate and great great aunt of Natalie, Audrey and Dylan. Theresa loved spending time in her garden, she enjoyed baking, and was a very crafty person who was especially fond of needlepoint and embroidery, but most of all she loved spending time with her daughter, family and friends. Visitation Friday, August 6, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church in Chicago for Mass at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL. For more information call (708) 456-8300.
