Teresa Parisi, 90, of Harwood Heights. At Peace with Christ Sunday, December 29, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Francesco. Loving mother of Carmela Parisi (Chris Thilmany). Cherished Nonna of Giovanni and Gabriella. Dear sister of Prudenza, Anna, Rosa, Nicola, the late Lina, the late Pierino, and the late Cecilia. Fond aunt, sister-in-law, relative, and friend of many. Teresa was the pillar of the Harwood Heights community and Union Ridge School. She loved tending to her garden, which was admired by her friends, family, and many passerby. She was the life of every social event and danced at every opportunity given to her. Her unshakeable faith gave her strength to guide others, and she prayed to her rosary each and every night. Visitation Saturday, January 11th from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Services begin on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. and will proceed to St. Rosalie Church, Harwood Heights. Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. The entombment will take place at the All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
