Tadeusz Dlugolecki, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 29, 2024. Tadeusz was the beloved husband of Halina, nee Szymborska, for 56 wonderful years; loving father of Dorothy (Jeff) Rossi, Elizabeth (John) Moriarty and Emilia Dlugolecka; dearest son of the late Kazimiera and Wladyslaw Dlugolecki; cherished grandfather of Samantha, Johnathan, and Stephanie Moriarty, Amanda Rossi, and Lillienne Dlugolecka; great grandfather of Elliot Moriarty; dear brother of Teresa. He was preceded in death by 7 older siblings.
Tadeusz served honorably as a Corporal in the Polish Army. He was a skilled bricklayer by trade both in Poland and the US. Fishing was his favorite pastime as was spending time outdoors.
Memorial Visitation Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Prayer Service 6:00 p.m.) at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. For more information call (708)456-8300.
