Susanne Griffith

In loving memory of Susanne Marie Griffith, who passed away surrounded by her family on October 19th at the age of 72. Sue was born on December 31st, 1951 in Chicago to Ed and Mary Faucher. She grew up in Park Ridge, and attended Mary, Seat of Wisdom where she has also been a longtime parishioner. Sue was a beloved wife to Dan and a loving parent to Kristen (Jason), Pat (Abbie) and Kerry (Eric). She was also a doting grandparent to Ben, Henrik, and Leia and devoted sibling to Midge (Bill), Trish (Bruce), Mike (Laura), Donna (Gary), and Tom (Susie). Sue was known for her sharp wit and candor, her generosity, and her willingness to do anything to help others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, October 29 ^th at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church 920 Granville at Cumberland, Park Ridge. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the ALS Association and the Chicago Food Pantry in Sue’s honor.
