Stephen Willms

Stephen P. Willms (58) passed suddenly on February 20, 2016 while vacationing with his wife, Diane, in Savannah, GA. Steve grew up working in the family's business, at The Lake Bluff Pharmacy. He graduated from Drake University and went on to become a successful businessman and great friend to many. Steve was a competitive golfer; loved everything Disney and feared seafood. He had a gift to make people laugh and feel special. Always the ultimate gentleman, Steve put the needs of others ahead of his own. Steve and Diane loved traveling to any destination as long as there was a Marriott to be found. Although their time together was short, their everlasting love was an inspiration to family and friends. Steve is preceded in death by his mother Shirley Willms (ne Demlow) and his father, Howard Willms. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane (ne Capace) and siblings; Jeff Willms (Diane), David Willms (Linda), Lori Moorehead and Donald Willms. Steve was fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday February 25th, 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Friday February 26th, at the funeral home for service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL, on Saturday, February 27th. at 12:00 noon.
