Stanley Zachar

Stanley "Stash" Zachar, 68, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2021 with his son, Mark, and wife, Helena, at his side. Stash was a true Chicagoan, born and raised. His joys were "watching the game", fishing, golfing, and playing with his 8 grandchildren. There was almost nothing he couldn't fix or do himself. He is the beloved husband of Helena (nee Stankiewicz) Zachar. Loving father of Mark (Kate) Zachar, Monica (Daniel) Larson and Matthew (Renee) Zachar. Cherished grandfather of Jude and Quinn Zachar, Hawken and Riven Larson, and Carole, Jubilee, Faye and Elanor Zachar. Dear brother of Sue, Steve, Sal, Sandy, Shirley and Scott. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. His laugh and stories will be missed forever. All Services are Private.
