Stanley Stomper

Stanley J. Stomper, 90, U.S. Army Veteran, 50 year resident of Norridge; Beloved husband of the late Virginia; Devoted father of Linda (the late Bob) Wade, Cindy (Ron) Dayney, John (Amy) Stomper and Jeff (Elizabeth Pope) Stomper; Loving grandfather of Brian, Matthew, Amber, Ashley, Nicole, Thomas and Andrew and great-grandfather of Keagen, Norah, Cameron and Hailey; Dear brother of Blanche Cerkleski, Dorothy Lukasik, the late Joseph Stomper and the late Alice Klos; Fond uncle to many. Stanley was a longtime volunteer at Resurrection Hospital. Visitation will be Friday October 18th from 3 - 8 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral service will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home proceeding to Divine Savior Church for 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
