Stanislaw Szafranski, age 72, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 18, 2024. Stanislaw was the loving husband of Maria (Wawrzonek) for 50 wonderful years; loving father of Agnes Wojdyla, Barbara (David) Stefanovic, Jolanta Flis, Stan (Patricia) Szafranski, Greg Szafranski and the late Beata Kraus; dear son of the late Emilia and Stanislaw; cherished grandfather of Dawid Kraus, Jakub, Matthew and Paulina Wojdyla, Julia and Maya Stefanovic and Emilia and Tomasz Flis; dearest brother of Zbyszek Szafranski and the late Zofia (the late Czeslaw) Sobiech, and he was a fond uncle of many.
With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to our dad, husband, friend, and grandfather, Stanley, who passed away peacefully in his sleep. Stanley was a one-of-a-kind, hardworking man who made it clear and obvious that he was most proud of us, his family, and we felt it. Stanley lost his father at a young age and was raised by his mom, whom he loved so much that he'd always describe her with tears in his eyes. They immigrated from Poland in the 1970s. He admired her determination, strength, and intelligence, which is why we love Stanley, too. Other traits we will always consider are his immense drive and strength and being a man of few words though a big heart. He was a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He had incredible intuition and a knack for business. While working very hard, holding 2 to 3 jobs at a time, he saved every dollar to build his business. Simplicity was his way of life; he did not know what luxury meant, nor did he want luxury, only a smile and appreciation from his children. Dad, your presence will forever be a part of us; a piece of our heart is with you. We are grateful for our shared memories and the love you bestowed upon us. Your memory will always live in our hearts and actions.
