Speranza DiPaolo

Speranza DiPaolo (Pontarelli)– age 89, from Rochetta Al Volturno, Italy. Departed to meet the LORD, peacefully, May 22, 2026, surrounded by her sister Yolanda Treni with her loving Children. She was a devoted Catholic who found strength and comfort through her daily devotional and the Rosary. She was beautiful, a loving mother, a wonderful homemaker, and an excellent cook. Proceeded by her parents, Thomas and Elena (Deluca) Pontarelli, her brother Amelio, and her husband Emilio. She is survived by two sons, Anthony and Edward (Terri), and four grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Isabella, and Faith Anne. She had many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Visitation Friday, May 29, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum in River Grove. For more information call (708)456-8300.
