Sophia "Sonia" Iwanec, nee Sadowsky, age 90, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2022. Sonia was the beloved wife of the late Roman; loving mother of Peter Mark (Maria) Iwanec; dearest daughter the late Emilia and Stanislaw; dear sister of the late Orest and Wolodymyr; fond aunt of many.

Visitation Friday, November 25, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church in Chicago for an 11:00 a.m. Service.
The entombment will follow at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Mausoleum.
