Siegfried Siedler, 83, of Norridge, Illinois passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, in Park Ridge. He was born on January 1, 1942 in Germany. He was married to his wife JoAnn for 34 years. Together they traveled the world. Siegfried was a tool and dye maker for Stanley Spring for over 30 years. He was also an avid bowler and joined many leagues, even inspiring his son Ron and grandson Christian to become bowlers. He loved his German heritage and every so often enjoyed a German beer at the Brau Haus—where he met JoAnn. He was a perfectionist and enjoyed his work.
Siegfried is survived by his wife JoAnn; children Heidi (Fred) Capaccio, Ron (Carol) Siedler; grandchildren Alexandra (Pat), Natalia (Drew), Christian (Dominique), Monika; great grandchild Penelope. He is also survived by his nephew Herb (Marion) Hoyer, who have guided and assisted Siegfried and JoAnn the last few years; niece Betty (Jack) Petry; nephew David (Ada) Hoyer, and many other great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Minna Siedler and brother Willie Hoyer.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral Service will take place Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Irving Park Cemetery. Info: 708-456-8300
