Shirley Engle

Shirley Engle, nee Kolodziejski, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2024, at the age of 80. She passed with her daughter, Sally, and grandson, Anthony, at her side.

Loving mother of Sally Engle. Devoted grandmother of Anthony Edward Engle. Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Mary (nee Nietupski) Kolodziejski. Treasured sister to Joyce (the late Anthony) Seminaro, the late Edward Kolodziejski, the late Dolores (the late Eugene) Jayko, the late Irene (the late Jerry) Kocol, the late Lorraine (the late Wilbur) Jankowski, the late William (the late Judith) Kolodziejski, and the late MaryAnn (the late Theodore) Wiszowaty. Adored aunt to many nieces & nephews. Longtime companion of the late Donato Parente. Dear friend to many.

Visitation is on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge IL 60706. Funeral service begins Monday, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Monica Church for mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment private. Info at cumberlandchapels.com
