Shari H. Kertez, nee Hanhardt 71, At Peace with Christ, Monday, June 14th . Beloved wife of the late Michael. Loving mother of Kate (Michael) Mraz and Michael Kertez. Cherished grandmother of Ava. Beloved daughter of Angeline and the late William Hanhardt. Dear sister of Candice, Sara, Joene, Billie, Angela “Angel” (Joel) Levin and Edward (Kathlene) Hanhardt. Shari worked in print and television News, and she was director of Public Relations for the Illinois Department of Employment Security. Visitation Thursday, June 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, at the Funeral Home, and will proceed to St. Juliana Church in Chicago for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M.
