Serafina Cosentino (nee De Bartolo) age 95, passed away on September 14, 2026. Serafina was born in Rende in the province of Cosenza, Calabria, Italy on November 5, 1930 to the late Carmine De Bartolo and the late Maria (nee Tamburino) De Bartolo. Serafina was the beloved wife of the late Michele. Loving mother of Roy (Maria) and the late Michael. Dearest nonna of Maria, Michael (Lauren) and Sarah (Jordan) Gardner. Loving great Nonna of Luca, Ella and Leo. Fond sister of Ida (the late Mario) Rende, Tony (Lucy) De Bartolo, and the late Anna (Saverio) Pellegrini, the late Italia (the late Michael) Sturino and the late Luigi (Madeline) De Bartolo. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and loving cousin to Mary Louise (the late Albert) Tassi.

Visitation for Serafina will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:45 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Illinois. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Illinois.
