Scott Pecoraro, 55, of Fox Lake, IL, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born and raised in Chicago, Scott spent the last 12 years enjoying life in Fox Lake, where he embraced his love for the outdoors.A proud Teamster, Scott dedicated his career to Chicago’s wholesale produce industry, where he formed lasting friendships and took great pride in his work. Beyond his profession, he was an avid outdoorsman who found happiness in nature—whether hunting in the woods, casting a fishing line, or enjoying time on the water. In the colder months, he took to winter sports with enthusiasm. Scott also had a deep love for cooking and was happiest when preparing meals for his family and friends, bringing people together through food and shared laughter. He had a strong sense of humor that could brighten any room, always knowing how to make others smile with his quick wit. His warmth, generosity, and adventurous spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Scott is survived by his loving mother, Kathleen; his sisters, Victoria and Suzanne; and his nephew, William. He will be remembered for his kind heart, love of family, and the joy he brought to those around him.
