Sarah Daniels

Sarah Jane Daniels (nee Yalda), was peacefully called to heaven the afternoon of October 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born in Michigan on July 9, 1923, Sarah was 99 years young when she passed. She had a zest for life and a sense of adventure, traveling all over the world with her husband and their friends. For over 30 years, until her final day, Sarah lived independently in her home in Niles, close to many family members and friends. Sarah was the loving mother to Robert, Patricia (John) and Richard (Jennifer); cherished grandmother to Robert, Richard, Randall, Renee and Russell; Jennifer, Diana, and Suzanne; Richard, Charles, and Michael; great grandmother to 12; and beloved aunt to her many nieces and nephews. A service will be held Saturday, October 8 at 12:00 at Carter Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4950 W. Pratt Avenue, Skokie. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SEDOL (Special Education District of Lake County) or St. Jude’s Hospital.
