Santos Gonzalez, age 78, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Santos was the beloved husband of the late Leyda, nee Rodriguez; loving father of the Honorable Judge Leida (Miguel) and Mary (Jose') Santiago; cherished grandfather of Jon (Jennifer Straka), Angel, Javier and Anmaris Santiago; great grandfather of 4; dearest brother of Virgino, Isabel, Antonio, Genoveva and Juan Alberto; fond uncle of many. Visitation Monday June 10, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Juliana Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
