Sandra Mezzano

On Friday, October 9, 2015, Sandra (Sandi) Ann Mezzano lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 73. She was born September 8, 1942 in Chicago, IL to the late Esther and Leonard Oaks. She married Louis Mezzano on March 27, 1971. Family and friends were Sandi's passion and delight. She loved to host and entertain, and frequently held large gatherings. She believed feeding someone was the best way to display your love and appreciation. Sandi is survived by her husband Louis; daughter Tina (Bill) Siskoff of Addison; son Louie Mezzano of Norridge; three granddaughters Elyssa, Mia, and Gianna; two sisters Andrea Williams of Kentucky and Gloria Welch of Florida. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Sandi requested a small private funeral. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last month.
