Salvatore “Sal” LaScola April 14, 1938 — February 1, 2026
Salvatore “Sal” LaScola, beloved husband of the late Dorothea (née Raitano) LaScola. Cherished son of the late Stephen and Josephine (née Siracuse) LaScola. Loving father of JoAnn (Michael) McCann and Laurie (Daniel) Romanazzi. Cherished “Poppy” of Brendan McCann (Lauren), Dina Fox (Matthew), Danielle DiMenna (Greg), and Liam McCann (Maddy Finn). Proud great-grandfather (but known as “Poppy”) of Anthony, Olivia, Grace, and Brynn. Loving Poppy to our pups Louie & Murphy.
Sal was the co-founder and owner of Regency Tile, where he dedicated approximately 30 years of hard work and craftsmanship alongside his best friend, and business partner, Jerry Krucek, who was more like a brother to him. He was also blessed to share a lifelong bond with his cousin Josephine Krucek.
Sal was an avid golfer and bowler, and he rarely passed up a good card game. He took special pride in teaching all of his grandchildren how to play cards — and play them well. A Godfather, Uncle, and friend to many, Sal will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the deep love he had for his family.
Sal will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and traditions he passed down to his family. A man of strong faith, Sal found comfort in God and strength in the love of those closest to him. His life was defined by devotion — to his family, his work, and the values that guided him each day. His legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering presence will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to call him “Poppy.”
