Salvatore Brancato

Salvatore ‘Sal’ Brancato, 79, at rest June 20, 2026. Born in Caccamo, Sicily. Dear son of the late Sebastiano and Maria Brancato. Loving brother of Giuseppa (Frank) Porto and Concetta (Giovanni) Ariano. Fond uncle of Giuseppe Ariano, Josie Giannini, Sebastiano Ariano, and Michael Ariano; great uncle of Giulia, Sabrina, Dino, Frankie, Giovanni, Mia, and Sofia. Sal was a longtime employee at Nestle in Franklin Park for over 30 years. He enjoyed his espressos at Bella Café and Caffe Pronto while visiting with friends. He was an avid card and game player and truly enjoyed spending time with his family. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, Chicago. Entombment All Saints Cemetery.
