Sally R. Duski, 98, passed away December 19, 2021. Wife of the late Victor M. Duski. Loving mother of Paul (Eileen) Duski, Mark (Deborah) Duski, Sally Ann (Joseph) Civinelli. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Jackie) Duski, David (Anna) Duski, Amanda Duski, Christina Duski, Natalie (Keith) Hurst, Andrew (Kathy) Civinelli. Great grandmother of Sophia, Alex, Ava and Eden Duski, and Leo Hurst. Fond aunt of many. Sally was the Valedictorian of the first graduating class at Taft High School, was inducted into the Taft High School Hall of Fame and was known for her love of the arts. Sally attended DePaul University as a Music major while working full time and raising 3 children. Her professional career spanned 6 decades, including Biasco Musical Instrument Co. in Chicago, as a music instructor then as a top sales-person. When most people contemplated retirement, Sally changed course and obtained her real estate brokers license, achieving top sales recognition servicing the Northwest Suburban area particularly Park Ridge, with Century 21 Real Estate. Sally retired at the young age of 90. In addition, Sally was the director for the award winning, St. Ferdinand Church choir in Chicago. Sally was also very active in community theatre including "Those Were the Days Radio Players" and "The Park Ridge Players" in leading roles in Steel Magnolias and The Park Ridge Bottle Band. Memorial Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Memorial Services will start on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to St. Eugene Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment private.
