With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of Ryan Perez at the age of 31, just days before his 32nd birthday. From a young age, Ryan knew he was destined to serve and protect. That calling led him to a career as a police officer, where he was recognized for his dedication, bravery, and honorable service.

Ryan was a force of light in the lives of those who knew him. He had a rare gift—the ability to make people laugh. No matter how tough the day, Ryan could put a smile on anyone’s face. Beneath his strong exterior was a man of deep kindness, loyalty, and love.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Madeleine Perez, a proud dog dad, a cherished son, brother, son in law, brother in law, a nephew, and grandson. Ryan also leaves behind countless family members, friends, and colleagues who will forever carry his memory.

Ryan’s loss leaves an immeasurable void. His love, humor, and unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His light will never fade.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge.  Visitation will also be held on Monday starting at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.  Info:  708-456-8300
