Beloved husband of the late Diane “Dee”. Loving father of Jeffrey (Mary), Thomas (Barbara) and Gerald. Fond grandfather of Meghan (Rick), Julianne (Ryan), Carissa (Steve), Deanna, Bridget, Stephen (Ellen), Lauren, Adam and Kristen. Great grandfather of Scarlett, Reagan, Rowan, Freya, Natalie and Meadow. Fond uncle and great uncle to many. Visitation Thursday June 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRECTORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 A.M.. The burial will take place, with Military Honors at the Acacia Park Cemetery. Roy was a member of Independent Order of Svithiod and a member of the St. James Lutheran Church for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
